Intricate hooked needle embroidery incorporating gold dabka, nakshi springs, and freshwater pearls.

Aari work is the signature needlecraft of royal Indian courts. Stretched tightly across heavy wooden timber addas, fabric is embroidered using fine hooked needles that manipulate metallic wires and beads from beneath the cloth. At Pratiksha’s Attire, this generational craft is practiced by 3rd-generation karigars who imbue every inch with unyielding dignity.
From your initial appointment through muslin prototype fittings to the final studio reveal.
Silks and velvets are stretched onto timber frames with tension ropes to create a taut canvas.
Artisans guide the metallic wire from beneath the frame while the hooked needle catches loops above.
Cotton cords are laid beneath the wires to give floral leaves and temple arches dimensional relief.
Curated solutions engineered specifically for your event requirements and personal aesthetics.
Comprehensive neck, back, and sleeve embroidery tailored precisely around your jewelry line.
Deep crimson and emerald velvet kalis covered in gold dabka and seed pearls.
Continuous scalloped aari lace edging and scattered butis across sheer silk tulle.

We provide specialized archival muslin garment covers. Since we use anti-tarnish electroplated metallic wires, the gold luster remains pristine for decades when stored dry.
